For any information about trips or planned courses, please contact the University of Lodz International Relations Office!

    Dear Sir or Madam,

The University of Lodz Language and Certification Center (CJIC), meeting the needs of students qualified for trips abroad under the ERASMUS+ program, offers the opportunity to obtain a certificate confirming foreign language proficiency. This document can be issued based on completed language courses culminating in a program-specific exam.

To obtain a certificate, please send an email to: cjic@uni.lodz.pl, containing the following information:

    • name and surname,
    • email address,
    • student's ID number,
    • faculty and field of study,
    • year of study,
    • information on whether the program-specific exam has already been passed.

    Procedure for issuing a certificate:

If the program-specific exam has been passed, the certificate will be issued immediately, without the need for any further action.

If a language course is in progress, the student should ask the instructor to determine their language level. The instructor will send the relevant information directly to the CJIC via email.

ONLY FOR STUDENTS qualified for the exchange program who have not yet begun their language course or whose exchange program requires knowledge of a language other than the one covered by the course.

CJIC organizes language exams twice per academic year (November and May), in consultation with the University of Lodz Internationalization Center (formerly the University of Lodz International Relations Center). The exam aims to assess the language skills necessary to function in an academic environment abroad. A positive result—as in other cases (see above)—will allow you to receive a CERTIFICATION OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY AT A GIVEN LEVEL.

IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS REGARDING YOUR TRIP AND THE TYPES OF REQUIRED DOCUMENTS, PLEASE CONTACT:

University of Lodz Internationalization Center (formerly the University of Lodz International Relations Center):
